With your kit, we'll provide you with the referral you need to obtain your blood sample at QML.
3. Post your blood sample in the pre-paid envelope provided
Simply follow the instructions in your kit on how to post your blood sample to SneakPeak for analysis.

Frequently Asked Questions
Clinical studies have shown that fetal DNA clears from mom’s bloodstream between a few hours to 2 days after birth.
In the case of identical twins, if male DNA is found, then both babies are boys. If no male DNA is found, then both babies are girls. For fraternal twins (or more!), finding male DNA will confirm at least one baby is a boy, but cannot distinguish if the second is a boy or girl.
SneakPeek is a DNA-based test, so hormones do not impact results.
This clinical test looks only for the presence of Y chromosomes and is extremely sensitive and accurate. No blood thinners or other drugs are known to impact the gender results.
SneakPeek Clinical is a non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT), and it’s safe for both mom and baby.
Expect your results by email within 7-10 business days after your blood has been taken, Time frames can vary depending on postal delays with Australia Post and Fedex (which is outside our control), as this sample is sent to the SneakPeek lab in Los Angeles. If you are planning a gender reveal, please allow for the extra time incase of delays.
Some results may come back inconclusive. In such cases, you’ll be offered either a free replacement test kit or a full refund.
If your baby’s gender at birth does not match your test results, SneakPeek will issue a full refund (see FAQs for terms and conditions).
💡 Tip: It’s always a smart idea to have your baby’s gender reconfirmed via ultrasound before planning gender reveals or purchasing gender-specific items, as there is a 1% chance the results may not be accurate.

We know your DNA information is personal. To protect your privacy:
- This tests is for baby’s gender only. No data is gathered about disease states or other health-related information.
- After the test is run, your DNA sample is disposed of by a professional chemical management company in compliance with federal standards.
- Your results will never be shared with anyone other than the email address you provide on your consent form and the clinic who offered you this service.
To receive a 100% refund from Sneak Peek if your baby’s gender at birth does not match your test results, Sneak Peek requires a copy of your baby’s birth certificate for sex verification, along with the date of birth. The refund will only be processed after your baby is born and must be requested within 365 days of birth. Please note that once your blood sample has been collected and shipped to Sneak Peek’s lab, the test is non-refundable.

You can only purchase our test kits from us if you live in Queensland, Australia. We do not post to other States in Australia.
Please note, if you order through our online store on a Saturday or a Sunday and opt for your kit to be posted, it will be sent on Tuesday morning as we are closed on Mondays. Your test kit will be sent via Australia Post in a red and white prepaid parcel post satchel with tracking. Please allow up to 3 to 4 days for postage with Australia Post. Delivery times/delays can vary based on Australia Post.
